Following on from the News that Halton FM has been awarded a 5 year licence from Ofcom (The radio regulator in the uk,) we have now had conformation of the new name, HCR ( Halton community Radio.) yes they've gone back to the roots many years ago when it started out as a Halton College Project.

The station is also currently loking for Volunteers for the the forthcoming broadcast in all areas HCR  (i.e. Journalism, Promotion, Creative writing & Sport). Applications will also be considered for Daytime and specialist presenters.
